Better late than never, but I have been obsessed with the FOX hit series Empire. I finished it a little over a week ago on Hulu, but I still cannot get enough of the show and it's music. I'm sure you've seen the show, considering it was the most watched show on TV, but if not, I highly recommend checking it out. Spoiler alert below!
Empire follows Lucious Lyon(Terrance Howard), and his legacy in the music and entertainment industry. It begins with him discovering he has a fatal disease, and so he must choose one of his three sons to pass on the Empire to. The show plot progresses rather quickly in the first epsiode when Lucious' ex-wife, Cookie Lyon(Taraji P Henson), is released from prison and returns for her piece of Empire.
I won't give away to much, but there is a ton of drama, heartbreak, plot twist, and even death, throughout the first season. I was able to finish the season in two days and I'm sure you will be able to also. The series will also introduce you to some great music, and leave you wanting more.
