The 2014 Grammy Awards took place last night, and it was definitely a night for, 17-year-old singer/songwriter, Lorde to shine! The "Royals" singer picked up not one, but two Grammy awards,and, performed the song that earned the awards.
Lorde won the Grammys for Best Pop Solo Performance, and Song of the Year, for Royals. Her album, Pure Heroine was released this past September, and since then she has been making quite the name for herself. I'm a huge fan of hers and am so happy that she is receiving the recognition that she deserves.
A little fun fact; her hit song Royals, was written by Lorde when she was only 15-years-old! I'm excited to see what's next. Lorde, if you're reading this, let's set up an interview!
